The White Swan Cottage is just a stone’s throw from Alnwick Castle and Gardens and is the perfect location to base yourselves for exploring the very best of the North East with its unspoilt coastline and historic landmarks. Discover Holy Island and Lindisfarne, Northumberland National Park and the exciting cities of Durham and Newcastle.
Our Cottage also benefits from an outside area where you can enjoy a BBQ, and direct access to Alnwick town centre. Guests staying at Swan Cottage will also have access to free Wi-Fi throughout.
About White Swan Cottage
Our cottage has three double bedrooms, each with the option to convert the beds into twins, making it perfect for up to six guests. Located right in the heart of Alnwick, it is conveniently situated next to the White Swan Hotel, and just a short walk away from the castle and gardens. After a day of exploring, you can unwind in our secluded patio with a hot tub, overlooking the lawn at the rear of the property. There is free public parking situated to the rear of the cottage.

Things to do
We’re situated in the heart of Alnwick, so you can find The Alnwick Garden just a short walk from our door. Alnwick Castle is also within easy walking distance and offers an enchanting window in to the past.
For the bookworms, take a stroll down the road to Barter Books, housed in a restored Victorian train station, and delve in to a good book.
Take a day tip up to Bamburgh Castle or further on to Holy Island to see Lindisfarne Castle and experience Northumberland’s rich history.
